The Austrian Agency for Research Integrity (OeAWI) is a registered non-profit association founded by research institutions in Austria to promote good scientific practice and investigate cases of alleged research misconduct.

Founded in 2008, the agency currently has 69 members, among them all public universities as well as private universities, universities of applied sciences, non-university research organizations, research funders and the Ministry of Education, Science and Research.

The agency provides advising to its members on all matters related to research integrity and misconduct. The Commission for Research Integrity of the OeAWI, an independent body consisting of distinguished scholars, offers confidential and objective investigation of cases of alleged research misconduct and proposes appropriate measures to the involved parties.

To raise awareness for issues related to research integrity and promote good practices, the agency also offers trainings and hosts events in various formats on current topics for its member institutions.

The OeAWI seeks to add an instructional designer to its team to support the further development of its online training platform and creation of a knowledge hub.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and development of:
  - online educational videos, tools and other material on Research Integrity (RI) and Research Ethics (RE)
  - a user-friendly knowledge hub for resources related to RI&RE
• Support other projects of the agency as required

Requirements:

• Educational background and/or experience in Communication and Media Design, Educational Sciences, or other relevant field
• Excellent written and spoken English; very good written and spoken German
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with online and blended learning methods and related software
• Experience with Articulate 360 a plus
